Aspiration is hope or ambition of achieving something for a better future. As a young generation, we must have the courage to express our aspiration because we have the power to change our society to a better; worthwhile ones.
In conveying aspirations, we need to know what is our goal. Miss Keri Lestari said that we need to know for whom we deliver our aspirations. For instance: if we don't feel comfortable of the facilities in our school, then we need to know the person who is responsible for the facilities in school; we can convey our aspirations in this aspect to the vice principal of the infrastructure sector (Bu Yattini). Then our aspirations must based on fact and data, we must not give any aspiration that only based by our own will that is not useful for the society. An aspiration must be considered well by an individual, therefore the aspiration can change many cases into a better situation in the future. We also need to deliver our aspiration by a good manner so that the person who will grant our aspiration is delighted by how we approach them.
Aspiration day is one of the events in my school that gives opportunities for the students in 3 Senior High School to deliver their aspirations for the teacher, students council, principle, the vice principle, and the school workers in order to bring better changes for 3 Senior High School in the future. This event is held by Perwakilan Kelas 3. The first day of Aspiration Day features some speaker such as Miss Keri Lestari (a vice rector from UNPAD; she actually a substitute speaker for Mr Ridwan Kamil since he can't come to the event due to his activity priorities). After that, the event features a guest star, they were a band called Amigdala. The show from the guest star is really fun and makes the event more exciting. This event is necessary for young generations because it demands us to be brave to give aspirations, and deliver words for some good changes in our society. What I really adore from this event is; the value of aspirations is packed with exciting and fun event, therefore it is really suitable for us teenagers to get the value easily and happily.
