Miserable Story of Mine

This desperate occasion happened when I was 14 years old. It was already afternoon, so I went home  after school. Then I took a ride with angkutan umum to return home. But I forgot to bring extra money so, I only could pay one angkutan umum ride to Cimahi. But I can't continue my travel with ojek for going to my residence in Tanimulya.

I felt panic in a split second, because I can't go home without any money left. So I decided to walk from Gadobangkong (the area I was dropped by the angkutan umum) to Tanimulya. It was pretty close actually, but the road has no pavement to walk and the road is full of vehicles. It was very struggling to walk on. I had to be extra careful if I didn't wanted to get hit by something (read: vehicle). The road is very polluted that day, because of the traffic jam. But I could easily got over the road (safely) since the vehicles didn't move, so I could walk between the road.

Fortunately, I got so exhausted on the way. Yes, I have got across the Haji Gofur road, but I didn't reached the uphill part of the road to my residence. So I decided to take a break for a moment.

Suddenly, a vehicle came to my direction. I was so suprised because I was daydreaming a bit. After I realized, it turns out that the vehicle was an angkutan umum. But then I was confused because it was strange that an angkutan umum past trough to this area since this area is not a main roadway.  Then, the driver asked me where I wanted to go. I said I want to go home.

Then the angkutan umum driver said "Oh, I want to go home too! My home is at the same road as you're, you could go home with me if you wanted to,". I didn't expect that offer. But I doubted him because he could trick me and I could be kidnapped. Unfortunately, I was so exhausted back then, that I felt like I couldn't walk any further. Then after taking consideration for a split second, I decided to join his trip to go home.

It turns out that he didn't lie, the trip pass trough my residence. I was so grateful that I'm okay and did not kidnapped by the driver. Since the driver of angkutan umum usually asked us to pay off the ride, I said to the driver that I've got no money left. But the driver said "It's okay, you didn't have to pay,". After I said thank you to the driver, he drove away. I was so thankful for the kind driver I met. If I didn't meet him, I would already fainted from the exhausting trip.

My Dream

I'm 16 years old, I was born in Cimahi, and my parents decided to name me as Feodora Putri Humaira. 'Feodora' was derived from Greek language, it means God's blessing, Putri was derived from Indonesian language that means a girl; and 'Humaira' was actually a nickname that Rasulullah (peace be upon him) gave to Aisya. My parents hoped that I as an individual; could be a girl that depict the one of the best Muslima that ever lived, Aisya. I'm the only child, well you could potray me as a spoon-fed girl because of that fact; but YES, I admit that I was a spoiled girl back then. As I had grown up, I realised that I need to change. I need to be more independent and to make my parents' aspiration when I was born; to be a reality. I need to be a figure that I was named for. From that point, I started to change my mindset to get out from my comfort zone. Usually in my leisure time, I only did non-productive things; for instance: scrolling instagram timeline, p...
