My Holiday

My holiday started on 18th December 2017 until 2nd January 2018. I spent my holiday in my house; and I was struggling to drove away the boredom I felt that time. So I guess, even though I have nothing to do on last year's holiday, I intended to keeping on being busy with doing some of my hobbies that time, and not procrastinate on holidays. But in the end, I kept procrastinating, and I didn't do anything productive on holidays. So what did actually I do on holidays? Well, that's a lot, actually, but I felt like the activities that I've done on holidays weren't productive. I was playing games, and buying go-food oftenly throughout the holidays. To be honest, I felt super-duper lonely at the early holiday because there's no one that time that could hangout with me.

What else? Oh yeah, I didn't actually spent the holidays only at my house, I went to Jakarta for two days (I forgot when) to meet my grandparents. Me and my mom traveled from Cimahi to Jakarta with train for 2 hours. The 2 hours were boring in the train; there were nothing to do! The foods that were sold in the train were so expensive, so we didn't bought anything to eat. I felt desperate that time because even though I had my breakfast that time; I didn't lost my hunger. Then after 2 hours has passed, we finally arrived at the Jatinegara Train Station. My grandma greeted me warmly; I felt like she missed me so much. I had to spend one night in my grandparents' house. Then, after 2 days already passed, we went back to Bandung; my grandparents' joined us too because grandma was sick, so she wanted to go to a traditional therapist in Bandung.

My grandparents stayed in my house for a week. It's fun to have company in the house; I didn't felt lonely like I used to. What about the traditional therapist? Yeah, we went there to accompany my grandma to get some remedy. My grandpa joined us too. My mother drove the car to get us there. The traditional therapist was located across SMP 4 Bandung. The therapist quarters was small, but there's a lot of patients that went there for remedies. The therapist is not like the ordinary therapist, he used herbs as medicine and certain massage to cure his patients. The therapist quarters was called 'Sentuh Raga'. The therapist was old, but he was friendly and funny. We were welcomed to go in to the checkup room, then the therapist massaged my grandma without asking what disease had my grandma suffered. But, he explained that he could predict the disease himself. He continued his massage on my grandma's leg, and suddenly my grandma screamed. She said that it hurts a lot on that point when the therapist pinch her lower leg. Then the therapist said, "Ma'am, you had high cholestrol, and your heart had been swelled (pembengkakan jantung)". I was amazed by how he knew what my grandma suffered just by massaging her leg! Then, my grandpa had his checkup by the therapist too, so we could knew if he had some disease or not. After my grandpa had been massaged, we found out that he suffered vertigo. I had my checkup too; just to pleased my curiousity actually. He knew the details that I had respiration sickness: sinusitis, and cold allergies. That was a cool experience I had to know that there's a person even though he had no experience in a medical school, but he could cure many people by his massage ability. After we had our checkup, we had given some herbs that hopefully could cure our sickness. The therapist told us to come again for some massage, so that my grandma and grandpa could cure their sickness effectively.

I wish that I could show you guys the photo of the therapist's quarter, but sadly I couldn't find the photo.

That was a pinch of my holiday experience! Leave a like and comment please! Thanks!

Before she was having college in Germany, she has already accepted in FSRD ITB, but she prefered to continue her education abroad. In 30 Oktober 2010, she went to Berlin for the first time. She said that it is important to manage time, because she had to separate her time for work, and having college at the same time. She chose Chemistry major in Freie University, and fina

Aurora Natural Phenomenon

Do you know what is aurora? Aurora sometimes referred to as polar lights, northern lights (aurora borealis), southern lights (aurora australis), is a natural light display in the Earth's sky, predominantly seen in the high-latitude regions (around the Arctic and Antarctic). Auroras are the result of disturbances in the magnetosphere caused by solar wind. These disturbances are regularly strong enough to alter the trajectories of charged particles in both solar wind and magnetospheric plasma. These particles, mainly electrons and protons, precipitate into the upper atmosphere (thermosphere/exosphere). The resulting ionization and excitation of atmospheric constituents emits light of varying color and complexity. The form of the aurora, occurring within bands around both polar regions, is also dependent on the amount of acceleration imparted to the precipitating particles. Precipitating protons generally produce optical emissions as incident hydrogen atoms after gaining electrons f

Bakti Desa Programme

Bakti desa was a program from my school. It was an obligatory for every 11th grade student to join the program. The program started at 3rd January 2019 until 5th January 2019. The first day was the day we went to the Cibereum Village by angkutan umum. The trip spent 3 hours. Then, we were divided into groups, and each groups were entrusted with foster parents. Then, on the second day, we spent all day to help our foster parents to work. My foster parents worked as a farmer, so me and my friends helped them to crop the grass, and harvest the crops. It was tiring, but fun at the same time. Then we need to attend a farming training. We learned how to plant crops, plow the land with a tractor, and many else. We also did a charity event for the villagers. We shared food, cloth, and books to them. On the last day, we need to finish the program, so we had to say goodbye to our foster parents. Our foster parents were really kind and caring, we were so sad to be apart from them. Bakti desa remi
